香广男（黄子华饰）是公关公司的创意总监，人称“教主”的他打扮潮流、为人风流，一身“艺术家脾气”，活儿要顺心的才肯接，公司老板对此相当不满。在一次派对上，香广男误打误撞认识了盛花蕾（徐子珊饰），随后发现她是公司新聘请过来的专门对付广男的“武器”。香广男因为过去的经历，很同情城中与恋爱无缘的、无法找到真爱的“盛女”们。他在工作之余，替剩女们出谋划策，解决她们最切身的问题，重新包装，帮她们找到大好姻缘。各式各样的“盛女”轮番登场，广男会如何改造？身边的盛花蕾，又会和他碰撞出怎样的火花？

该片讲述了四个波兰家庭遭遇的悲欢离合。第二次世界大战时，大批各自家庭里是父亲、丈夫和兄弟的波兰战士，落入苏联军队的手里，并遭到残酷迫害甚至杀害，最终成为斯大林主义的受害者 [4] 。 1939年9月1日，德国从西边进攻波兰，9月17日，苏联从东边进攻波兰。苏联俘获了波兰东部30万军人后，释放了大部分士兵，但军官、科学家、学者、牧师、工程师这些“精英”人士被扣留下来。这些人的家属再也没有亲人的消息。1943年4月13日，纳粹德国无意中在俄罗斯的卡廷森林发现大量的万人坑，经鉴定，埋藏的正是二战中被枪杀的波兰军民，苏德两国互相指责为对方所为。1990年4月13日，苏联领导人戈尔巴乔夫承认卡廷惨案是苏联所为 [5] 。
